Planet Z Concept

Planet Z is a kids’ comedy show about a bizarre planet and its weird and wonderful creatures who have to learn to get along with each other despite their differences. The series, currently in late development, is based on animation director and comic artist Maria Björklund’s acclaimed comics by the same name.

The main characters, including Pinki and Tora, range from baby animals to fierce predators and tiny parasites – all savage and wild, yet cute at the same time. Each creature has its own skills and characteristics, which can really come in handy, as using their strengths together is often the only way for them to survive in their extraordinary environment!

Everything on Planet Z is inspired by our own Planet Earth, but comes with a twist – like National Geographic acted out on a strange planet! On the surface, Planet Z is a hilarious slapstick show full of visual gags and surprises, but underneath it delves deeply into the themes of diversity and tolerance.
