Planet Z Concept

Planet Z is an animated TV series we’re developing based on the comic books by director Maria Björklund, presenting the strange ecosystem of the planet and its inhabitants.

Planet Z is all about diversity. Its main characters, such as Pinki, Tora and Bobo, range from baby animals to fierce predators and tiny parasites. The planet’s diverse and cute, yet savage creatures face the daily challenges of getting along with each other, and often, they must learn to use their skills in complementary ways to survive in their extraordinary ecosystem!

Planet Z appeals to kids’ imaginative minds by mixing biology, comedy and fantasy – like National Geographic acted out on a strange planet! On the surface, it’s a light-hearted show full of visual gags and surprises, but underneath it delves deeply into the themes of diversity and tolerance.
